“I feel privileged and honored to receive a scholarship
from Doyon Foundation.” “This award has greatly alleviated my financial burdens
and pressures.” “The Doyon Foundation has been a source of financial and moral support.”
“Doyon Foundation has been vital to my success.” “I can never thank Doyon enough.”
These are just a few of the quotes we’ve heard from students who have received Doyon
Foundation scholarships – scholarships that are made possible with the support of
our Nee Ts’ee Neeyh donors.
Nee Ts’ee Neeyh, which means “we all give or help” in the Athabascan Koyukon dialect,
is one of Doyon Foundation’s major fundraising efforts. By making an annual donation,
our Nee Ts’ee Neeyh members enable the Foundation to provide competitive, basic and
vocational scholarships to part-time and full-time, Alaska Native, higher education
students.
There are many benefits to becoming a Nee Ts’ee Neeyh member. For example:
- All Nee Ts’ee Neeyh contributions support the General Scholarship program of the
Foundation.
- Members are recognized on Doyon Foundation’s Web site, in newsletters, e-newsletters,
press releases and annual report, and at various Foundation events.
- Members who contribute $1,000 or more receive a limited edition window decal distinguishing
them as leading members of the Nee Ts’ee Neeyh program.
- Members have the knowledge they are truly making a positive, profound difference
in the lives – and future success – of Alaska Native students.
If you are interested in helping Alaska Native students achieve their educational,
professional and personal aspirations, please consider becoming a supporter of Doyon
Foundation’s Nee Ts’ee Neeyh program.
