High School Students Eligible for Scholarships
Through Doyon Foundation’s Advanced College Credit program, high school students
taking college classes are eligible for part-time scholarships, if their school
district does not pay for classes. Students may receive scholarships covering the
cost of their class, up to $400.
To apply, students should complete a basic scholarship application, which may be
found at our
Scholarship Application Form . If the student is under 18, a parent must
sign the waiver form, found on page two of the application. Students must also provide
proof of enrollment, including a class description, course cost and credits received,
as well as copies of their official high school transcripts.
While there are no set deadlines for this program, students should submit applications
close to the college student scholarship application deadlines, which are March
15 for the summer semester, April 15 for the fall semester, and November 15 for
the spring semester.
