Doris Miller is the daughter of William Miller of New Jersey and the late Stella Miller of Dot Lake. She is the granddaughter of the late Peter Charles of Tanacross and Doris Charles of Batzulnetas, and the late Peter and Anna Miller of New Jersey.

Prior to accepting the position as executive director at Doyon Foundation, Miller worked as the Foundation’s scholarship program manager for two years. Her previous work history includes working at a Native nonprofit organization for 17 years, serving in various programs including community health services, mental health and alcohol programs, quality management and administration.

Tonya Garnett is the daughter of Jerry and Lillian Garnett of Arctic Village. Her grandparents are the late Ezias and Martha James of Arctic Village and the late Edgar and Lucy Garnett of Cleveland, Ohio. She is the proud mother of two year old Ashton Philip Peter.

Prior to joining Doyon Foundation in September 2010, Garnett worked at Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) for more than 6 years in various departments including employment and education. Garnett most recently held the position of self-governance coordinator at TCC. Garnett’s experience also includes serving as tribal administrator at Arctic Village as well as holding the position of rural mentoring coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Garnett earned a double degree in Alaska Natives Studies and Sociology and graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) with both bachelor degrees in 2002.

Megan is the daughter of Carl Demit, Jr. of Northway and Shelley Hosken of Tok. Her grandparents are Carl Demit, Sr. and the late Mable Demit of Northway, and Doug and Cheryl Hosken of Tok.

Hosken graduated from West Valley High School in 2008. Megan has been with Doyon Foundation since April 2009 and is currently attending the University of Alaska, Fairbanks in pursuit of a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.
